Tell us a bit about yourself!
look at me!

What is your background?
I grew up in
Indianapolis, IN. I think I've always been blessed to be somewhat creative. I don't really feel that I came into my full potential until just the last few years. I guess it's  true, with age comes wisdom and maturity. I say that I've been blessed, I don't feel that I'm the most talented at what I do, there a lot of creative people out there, but I thank God for the creative mind I do have.

What hobbies or interests do you have?
Mostly my hobbies/interests center around making great jewelry and coming up with new ideas. I love spending time with my kids and my husband and going for walks or just watching a movie with them. I also enjoy singing and dancing and reading a good book.

Is there a specific design style that you really like?
I do like modern and some futuristic. I do like things that are different and I think the people interested in my creations do too.

What drives you?
I think what drives me is giving. That being said, I love creating nice jewelry for less. I love to hel
p give people a bargain as I am a bargain shopper too!

What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about giving. I am also passionate about my family and their well being.

Why did you choose your career / niche / topic / market?
I started making earrings about 8 years ago or so when I found out that my daughter could not wear anything that was not nickel free. Any time metal is in contact with her skin, she'll break out in a rash and itch. At the time she wanted to start wearing jewelry we couldn't really find much she could wear; so I started making earrings with nickel free hooks. When I started making jewelry I knew I found my creative outlet! I loved it! I started showing people I worked with what I had made and started getting requests. I have enjoyed it ever since. I would love to be really successful in making jewelry, but for now it is a side business and hobby that I really enjoy.

What are your goals?
I'm not really sure where I see myself in 5 years. I plan to write a book one day about my life experiences, with the hope that it will help others. I would also love to get my jewelry business going enough to do just that.

What difference do you want to make in this field?
I think I would just like for people to see that you can have something nice for less. Not to devalue other people's work in any way, however, this is just my view and my way of creating.

Describe your ideal customer & the world they inhabit.
I feel like my customers are those who have money to spend, but are looking for a bargain just like me. I love doing custom orders, etc. also and I love to see all age groups enjoy my creations!

What is about your shop that is unique? What makes your shop different?
What makes my shop the most different are my prices and the range of jewelry. I have tried to create so many different types of jewelry so that there is something for everyone's tastes!

What’s your story & why should I buy from you?
My story is really just that I started making jewelry for my daughter because of her sensitivity to metal and I enjoy it so much and the creativity of it all. My husband and I have a wonderful marriage, but have never had an easy life financially. We are getting there slowly though. I pray that my business will take off enough to really help us!

What event or need causes them to search for what you offer? Which problem do you solve?
I feel like people find my jewelry because it is nice jewelry, but for less. I have had some special orders and I have been happy to fill their orders with nice items for less. I really try and offer something different for anyone, from something for the wedding day to something fun and funky to children's jewelry to pop culture.

What is your message?
I would like people to feel comfortable with my jewelry and happy and even a little excited when they see how sparkly the chandelier and swarovski creations are in person. I also like to encourage them to check out other etsy sellers, there are so many creative people out there. And I thank everyone for looking in my shop!
