Have you ever thought you need to be born with a special talent to be able to paint? Now today you'll learn that this is not true! Recreating your old art can show you this! I recreated a painting from four years ago! It was very interesting to watch me painting in this old video. It seems like I don't have a clue what I was doing because sometimes the things I did in the video feel so random!
I had just started out with watercolors and I didn't really know much about it. All I learned about watercolors in school was something a teacher showed the class with chalk on a blackboard(?!) instead of using watercolors and paper.
I feel like there are many cases where students get discouraged because teachers made them feel like they're not capable of creating art, math, writing essays…
Did something like that happen to you?
For me, it was a math teacher who stressed me out so much and made me scared and nervous that math ended up as a traumatizing experience even though I loved it in the beginning!
If this ever happened to you or is still happening to you, you are not alone! There is nothing wrong with you, you are enough and even if something is difficult and challenging for you, that’s okay.
Don't worry! You’ve got this!
There will always be challenges in our lives and we can't change that. But we have to keep going, we have to learn how to deal with certain obstacles, challenges, and things we don't understand yet.
Because this is the only way to get better, to grow as a person, and really become excited about any new challenges because on the other side of those obstacles, is a new and improved version of yourself.
When I painted this painting in 2016 I probably thought this is the best painting ever and now I don't even know what I was doing there. This will always keep happening because we always keep evolving!
And you can’t evolve, if you don’t keep moving and keep learning!
Watch me recreating my old art from 2016 in my video below to see how much I improved and to see how much you can improve if you keep learning!
