In today’s video, I’m painting a loose watercolor mountain landscape. This time I challenged myself to do it quickly! Because sometimes painting can take so much time and trying to catch all the details can steal the fun.
Have you ever felt like painting takes away too much time from your day? Or have you ever felt frustrated because you didn’t get all the details right? You love to paint but it feels like it takes you forever to finish a painting and it’s never as good as the reference picture or as others did it?
If your answer to one or more of these questions is yes, please join me and challenge yourself to paint quickly!
Here’s what I did and what I invite you to do too:
- Pick a reference image
- Set a timer (15-20 mins)
- Force yourself to paint quickly
You won’t have time to get lost in all the details. So try to capture the main things only. This way you will be able to let go and just have fun painting..
