Are you a fan of the Studio Ghibli films?

Even if you’re not, please keep reading! It’s worth it! 😉

Studio Ghibli is a Japanese animation film studio known for its stunning imagery and child-like animation! They capture every little detail from the birds flying in the sky, to fluffy clouds drifting away, to fresh strands of grass flowing in the wind. It feels like you are in the film yourself! It is a must-see for aspiring artists!

I admit that I haven’t watched them in a while but I remember watching them as a little girl and today I’m challenging myself to recreate one scene of my absolute favorite: Spirited Away. I tried it before but I had no idea what I was doing and I failed. So let's try it again today!

I hope you join me on my trip down memory lane and create this beautiful scene from my favorite Studio Ghibli film together!

Do you love Studio Ghibli films as much as I do? Did you have fun creating this scene with me? If so, you can click here to subscribe to my YouTube channel and you can create other paintings with me in the future!
